I Miss You, Queen

I miss you! I miss how you get to express yourself in your language and how you are around your family. I miss how you make fun of them and laugh until your tummy hurts. I miss how you think about everyday things and not the sun being up in the middle of the night.

I miss you being broke for days with no airtime in your katorch. I miss you smiling at your mom when she brings home bread.

I miss how you'd run to the store and buy drink o' pop to have with bread. I miss how you'd teach Janet mal moves. I miss how you acted when you walked alone through the crowded streets of Katutura. I miss how you sat up all night, studying a chapter that didn't even pop up in the exam paper.

I miss how you'd smile when you got that text message in the middle of the night. I miss how you were so confident when wearing casual to school and how your friends would laugh with you because you only really looked good when you were alone. I miss how you'd take a cab to Eros every morning. I miss you, and you are right here with me.

You have always been, but I've been feeling like I'm losing you so I thought I would let you know...
