Did you know, most people don't have surnames in... Indonesia?!

Q.U: What do you like about where you grew up?
N: I live in a small village close to the beach with mountains, so the view is always beautiful. The weather is also great out here, it does not get too cold during the winter and not too hot during the summer too. Some of my favorite childhood memories are going to the beach with my family and friends and having a good time.
Q.U: Tell us about your everyday life, from when you where in high school?
N: School was always great, a place where I got to hang with my friends. I miss my friends and I hope I can hang with them soon. Well, our school days were only up to Thursday and we had Fridays off, so that was nice. I attended a private school and arrived by school with my motorcycle. It was usually a thirty minute ride.

Q.U: How connected are you to your environment?
N: I'm not really a social person so I spend a lot of time indoors. Sometimes the beach here is really dirty and we don't have any organizations that initiate clean-up projects. I have often thought about cleaning up, but I haven't really had the time to do it and I haven't been motivated either. At the end of the day, it will just be messy, so I guess people think that it's pointless.

Q.U: How often do you use social media and what effect does it have on you? Does it distract you from studying or make you think differently about your body?
N: I use social media a lot, like everyday. Yes, it changes how I see myself and my life too because it makes me insecure about my body. Especially when I see that other people are having their best bodies, all perfect, and I'm not. It maybe disrupts my studies too so I make sure that I take breaks once in a while. The breaks are most common when I have mental break downs and I have to stay away from social media for about a week before I can get back, so yes, it does play a big role.

Q.U: What is special about your name?
N: So my real name is Nur Fatin- Nur means light and Fatin-means pretty. My parents gave me the name. I don't have a last name because most people in Indonesia don't have last names. None of my friends have surnames, and I've never had a friend with a surname.

Q.U: What type of music do you listen to? Mention your top three songs/artists.
N: I love pop music and artists like Ariane Grande, Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber. I like rap songs too, I like Eminem and Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B- it's perfect. My top three songs would be Heather by Conan Gray, Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Intentions by Justin Bieber.

Q.U: What kinds of places do you prefer to go when on holiday? Or would you like to go to?
N: I'd like to go abroad, especially to Norway because its really beautiful up there and I love nature. For holidays, I just spend a lot of time at home and maybe go to the beach because it's nearby- we don't travel that much.

Q.U: What is your favorite dish and is it connected to your nationality?
N: I like fried rice, a common food here.

Q.U: Can you imagine yourself living on the other side of the world What do you think you would be up to?
N: If I were in Norway, I would be probably playing with snow, play with snow and touch snow because there is no snow here!

Q.U: Can you think of something that you're not sure about, but would've done if you had the chance to? Being a YouTuber is something I would like to try out, vlogging and all, but I haven't done much travelling yet and I'm also camera-shy so I don't really know.

Q.U: What was the last thing you bought today? Noodles, my mom cooked earlier but I just wanted to buy some for later.

Q.U: Do you think that one day we will forget about skin color and things like racism and just live happily together?
N: I think that things will get a bit better in the future, but it will never really stop.

Q.U: About your career, do you have things all planned out or are you just getting by like the most of us?
N: I've thought about being a being woman. I'm majoring in English right now because I also want to become a teacher- and have a business on the side.

Q.U: What can be said about you based on your clothing style?
N: I'm just an ordinary girl, not really stylish. I just focus on my education so I don't really care about clothes. I guess I just don't care about what people might say, I wear whatever I want.

Q.U: Do you remember when you got your first phone and what model it was?
N: I don't really remember when it was or what phone it was.

Q.U: Tell us anything about yourself.
N: I have anxiety- is that a fun fact haha. I have mental breakdowns and I cry over nothing. I've never been to a psychologist because there is none here, because I live in a small village. I would probably see if a psychologist if I move abroad because I never talk about my anxiety. . I speak three languages and I have a cat
