Wrapping 2025

Usually we wrap the end of the year, pack it up and pack it away. This year I thought I would try something new, unwrap the year that was and the presents it came with. I have a feeling I will get more out of it this way, will be able to reflect a bit more and maybe understand even better where I am headed to in the new year.

The only problem with this is that I get a bit confused myself. I unwrap the year that was and in that one go have to wrap up the coming year so that I can be able to unwrap this gift that I've packed in at the end of the year. Does that make sense? I find it confusing when I think about it too much, which is why I decided to just do it.

So, 2025. Let's unwrap the year that was in the year that is. Very humbling to be writing this in February, but I remember when I restarted this blog that I would be writing and sharing in no particular order, with no pressure. So, here we are!

I'm happy to be here, I'm happy to be unwrapping the gift of a year that was.

Jumping straight into it, allow me to share with you how one of my biggest dreams came true this year: TRAVELLING TO ITALY!

The idea was planted already last year when we were invited to a wedding that would be taking place in Italy. That was it, that is how I ended up in Italy. Finally.
